All we want to do is eat your Brains…

So it seems in a blink PAX is done and I can’t wait until next year already! I’ve got to say that it was a blast! I was super tired by the end of it…well actually I was super tired the whole time. Just like every year at E3 I always planned on actually going looking at the games that were shown and such…I really didn’t do any of that. I mainly ran around all over the place and was helping out where I could. If you didn’t go this year I’d really suggest that you set aside some cash and go next year. I think its going to be even more epic than this year was.
I’m guessing you guys read PA so you’d more than likely seen the video showing Jonathan Coulton during the “Re: Your Brains” song. I was one of the many zombies in that video…well, I wasn’t in the shot but I was there. Anyway, If you guys get a chance…which I’m guessing you will head over to Dude’s Website. That link will let you listen to all his songs and you can buy them! I really like “Creepy Doll”, “Re: Your Brains”, “Skullcrusher Mountain”, “The Future Soon”, and “I Feel Fantastic”. Dude is super funny and the songs are really catchy.
I picked up Bioshock yesterday. I figured its going to be a good game to use to “relax” since I’m working mad hours. Steph watched while I played through the demo a few weeks ago. She really enjoyed it so I figured she could be my “navigator”. Guys listen…I know a number of you out there have a girlfriend and or wife who dosn’t like games or want anything to do with them. One of the best things you can do is get the respective other to become the navigator. I.e. Get the hint book and hand it to said person and let them help you through the game. You might be completely opposed to hint guides but in the long run you need to see the bigger picture here. The whole thing is to get said significant other into video games. This is a way that has been proven to work. To the point where (I am not shitting you) they want you to play the game! They don’t need to spoon feed all the content to you but if you need help and they’re able to give you the answer that shit counts as “spending time together” and she’ll get interested in video games. Trust me it works out. So yeah, the game is beautiful. I’m only about an hour into it and its pretty cool / creepy….ok good times…
