Ok so, I think I have a Pokemon problem…So with the previously mentioned Diamond and Pearl versions of the game you can transfer Pokemanz over from the previous games…I think I mentioned that before. I had Sapphire which was fine and all…but…see, that still leaves Ruby, Emerald (Which I snagged from a friend of mine so I could harvest the pokemon from said game), and Fire Red in order for me to get all said Pokemanz! If you’ll notice I left out Leaf Green, that’s because I picked it up last night from Gamestop. Look, this is the last pokemon thing I’m going to buy! Seriously, this was just a one time thing, I was there and I figured I could have one game and it wouldn’t be a problem.

I do have to say that the pokemanz people that make the game are brilliant. I mean, they figured out a way to make you (and by you I mean me) buy the other games to “catch em all” as it were. I will catch em all damnit! So many pokemanz…so little time to play all the games at once.

Ok so, I’m super into Pokemon (Diamond) right now. When we last left our hero he hadn’t finished the game (read: gotten all 8 gym badges, and beaten the “Final 4″), Well all that stuff is done now and the game has pretty much opened up for me. I.e. I got the “National Dex” and now I’m trying to fill it up…that and I’ve moved into the Genetic engineering phase of pokemon where I’m trying to create the Uber Pokemon….yes..I’m trying to create the master race of Pokemon. I found breeding to be an interesting side thing in the previous games, however this time I’m actively trying to move some abilities around. Right now I’m working on getting a Gengar the following moves: Hypnosis, Dream Eater, and Nightmare. I haven’t decided on the 4th move yet. I’ve always been a fan of Ghost Pokemon and Gengar is a good one. My standard Pokemon day consists of me running around power leveling pokemon and not letting them Evolve (Take that Darwin!) so that I can get their new abilities earlier and then I use them as breeding stock to create the previouslty mentioned Uber Pokemon.

So here’s where you guys can help me out. I need more pokemon! I don’t have all of the previous versions of the game to transfer over. I have Sapphire and I’ve been moving pokemon from there to the Diamond but I NEED the others! Listen…we can work something out, I don’t know what. If you’re going to PAX this year bring all your Pokemans! I “caught em all” on the original red/blue games and I MUST catch them all again!
