Work and Robots

March 20th, 2007 by Porkfry

ok so there is some weirdness with my site right now but I’ll figure it out. Its not letting me start a new post so I’m going to just edit the first one and we’ll go from there.

I’m working swing shift now. 2 - 10pm. Its kind of nice, I mean barely anyone is here and I get a ton of work done. I’m guessing that’s because I don’t have tons of people randomizing me. Its been cool because it gives me some time to spend with Ivy in the mornings and if I was leaving at 8am and getting home around then I would barely have any time with her. I will say that its a little weird that I come into work and everyone else leaves a few hours later. The drive home is nice because there’s no traffic and I get to listen to Coast to Coast which I normally only have for when I’m driving home super late from other places! Nothing quite like ending the day hearing about UFOs or Demons, or these “shadow people” that I guess do things, I also love hearing about all the Government conspiracy stuff. Nice end to the day.

So when I’m not working on a game that I can’t tell you the name of. I’ve been playing Armored Core 4. I like it because I only get a little bit of time after work to chill before I’ve got to crash out and it gives me the “Hot Robot on Robot Action” that I crave! I’ve been a fan of the AC games since the PS1 and I think they did a real good job with this version. Sure, I’m a total fanboy for this franchise but man its good! I’ve got a crew (and by crew I mean 2 other people) that I’ve been playing Multiplayer with and I cannot tell you with normal human words how amazing the performance is…guess I just did. Ok its amazing, for as fast as the game is with all the shit going on and zero lag or anything, its freakin sweet! I’ll talk more about it here soon, I’ve got to wrap some shit up before I gotta cut out from work. I’ll more than likely just add more AC4 stuff on to this post as it seems that I don’t have a strong enough grasp on my own website to even know how to post things correctly…
