Ok so I’m doin alright with that whole…my dad dying thing.

Currently I’m not playing wow…because the FING SERVERS ARE DOWN!

ok here’s where I’m at with all this. As it currently stands Blizzard (read: Vivendi) is making 90 million (yes million) dollars a month…that’s 1,080,000,000 a year…

Ok server stability is something you can throw buckets of money at and fix the problem. Its super frustrating for me working in the video game industry to see a company like this breaking records left and fucking right and not having the fucking sense to go and spend the cash to really lock the servers down and work out what needs to be done to make things work smothly.

Yeah, so this is where I am…in this really angry place where I come to conclusions about billion dollar companies from the comfort of my own home….

Ok so remember that thing how I talked about how my dad was ok…yeah well…
He died on wednsday. I’m taking some time off from work and am hanging out and well…hanging out.
I’m not sure how to feel about all this. I mean I never really knew him…but it sucks when people die. I had to sign the paper work to get him cremated…that was really surreal.

Anyway. yeah, so I’m here, kickin it and keepin it real.

I’ll keep you posted should…I dunno, things happen that would allow me to keep you posted.

Ok so, shit has been crazy on many levels for the past few months. To illustrate that to you I have the following bullet pointed list.

• My dad had his 4th heart attack (didn’t die, is actually out of the hospital…well actually as of today he’s back in the hospital but for something else.) I had to fly down to San Diego and do some stuff down there. Thought I was going to have to make the "Next of Kin" decission…then I didn’t have to. So yeah there was that emotional roller coaster.
• School: Taking a Java Class, my final is today.
• The blogging software I was using broke and has actually been broken for a bit I just didn’t know it. Hence the new blogging software
• Life stuff, you know dealing with pregnancy stuff with steph (she’s fine and Ivy is as well)

Ok so I’m back now, and ready to go. This is going to be the blogging thing I use from now on and am going to actively work on updating more. I’ve really missed it but now am actually starting to get back to where I can update more.

I’m working with people for what I think is the 1000th time now to update my site and actually make it look different. As usual I’ll keep you posted.
